Hey, I’m Melissa.

I’ve spent most of my life following curiosity. Today, that has led me to two very different but deeply connected kinds of work: building North House, a women’s learning society devoted to self-knowledge and the lifelong art of becoming, and leading Yellow Door Group, where I mentor real estate professionals as they build businesses of their own.
Outside of work, I’m raising three boys, reading almost constantly, dancing, wandering through bookstores and trails, and usually learning about something I knew very little about the week before. I’m interested in what makes us who we are, how people change, and how we can create lives that feel increasingly like our own.

The more we understand our natural patterns, values, strengths and contradictions, the more intentionally we can choose what comes next. Whether I’m building North House, mentoring someone in business, or simply following a new curiosity, I’m interested in the same question: how do we create lives that feel increasingly like our own?

I lead Yellow Door Group through eXp Realty, mentoring agents as they build stronger businesses, make better decisions and create careers that are sustainable for the long term. My role is less about traditional sales and more about leadership, strategy, development and helping good people do great work.
North House is the work I feel most called to build: a women’s learning society devoted to self-knowledge, curiosity, individuality, self-trust and the lifelong art of becoming. Through Human Design, teaching, writing, gatherings and thoughtful experiences, I’m creating a place for women to understand themselves more deeply and keep learning who they are becoming.
